Notepads+ is a replacement for the Win95 NotePad.  Supports drag and drop editing.  Load in text files larger than 32k.  This version allows for an unlimited number of text files to be open at the same time so cutting and pasting between text files is simplified.  Has an extensive menu system and button bar.  Maintains a most recently used list of  text files. Screen position is automatically saved.  Automatic backups, button hints and main status bar can be enabled.

  18. Options|Preferences was redone with a few extra options and a clean-up of some existing ones.
  19. Network now allows you to set the SMTP port if necessary. 
  20. A new option called Signature allows for automatic addition of your predefined signature to any emails you send through NotePads .

  22. Open/Input Filters was completely redone to make it easier to add/edit or delete open/save filters.
